The Business Association for Nagas (BAN) held a thorough financial literacy workshop at the BAN Conference Room in Dimapur in partnership with Addwell Wealth India (AWI) and Indo-German Education & Work Exchange (IGEWE). The workshop was led by AWI director Nischay Jain and associate director Komal Jain, according to a BAN press release. It covered important topics of financial planning, such as goal-setting, budgeting, and smart investing, and it gave participants—many of whom were first-time business owners—useful tools for handling and expanding their personal and company finances.
Speaking at the event, BAN advisor Thangi Manen urged attendees to embrace financial literacy as a crucial component of contemporary entrepreneurship. Vice President Zubeno Mozhui, speaking on behalf of BAN’s women’s branch, emphasised the need of financial education in creating a safe future. According to her, “having the right financial knowledge empowers individuals to live debt-free, make better decisions, and create long-term wealth.”
