New Delhi, May 14: Guar gum prices rose marginally to Rs 9,761 per quintal in futures trade on Wednesday as speculators increased their deal size amid strong spot demand.
Guar gum contracts for June delivery rose marginally by Rs 1, or 0.01 percent, to Rs 9,761 per quintal on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, with open interest of 49,480 lots.
Analysts said traders increased their deals in view of strong spot market trend, which led to rise in guar gum prices.
