The trailer for the upcoming Malayalam film Nellikkampoyil Night Riders has been officially released, showcasing actor Mathew Thomas in a bold new avatar. Known for his boy-next-door charm, Thomas steps into the shoes of an action hero in this fantasy horror comedy, directed by debutant filmmaker Noufal Abdullah.
Set in the mysterious village of Nellikkampoyil, the trailer opens with a light-hearted anecdote narrated by the female lead, Meenakshi Unnikrishnan, who boasts about her boyfriend Shyam’s bravery in catching a thief. However, the tone quickly shifts as supernatural forces descend upon the village, pulling Shyam and his friends into a chilling adventure filled with folklore, eerie encounters, and unexpected twists.
The film promises a blend of humor, suspense, and adrenaline, with Thomas portraying a romantic youth forced to confront his deepest fears.
