Nagaland government schedules April 30 meeting with tribal leaders for consultations

The Nagaland Government has announced a Consultative Meeting scheduled for April 30 to address critical issues impacting the state.

Key topics on the agenda include infrastructure development, such as the construction of the Foothill Road and Showba-Pangsha Road, alongside discussions on the Free Movement Regime, Protected Area Permit, Inner Line Permit, and strategies to uphold peace amidst recent political developments.

Invitations have been extended to presidents of all tribal hohos and representatives from civil society organizations, including the Naga Mothers’ Association, GBs Federation, and Naga Hoho. Each organization is requested to nominate three representatives to participate in the deliberations.
