Nagaland IT advisor Sethrongkyu Sangtam joins national digital dialogue at IT Ministers’ Round Table

Advisor for information technology and communication, economics and statistics, and evaluation, government of Nagaland, H. Sethrongkyu Sangtam, participated in the IT Ministers’ Round Table conference held on October 8, 2025, at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi. The event was organized as part of the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025.

The high-level round table was chaired by union minister for communications Jyotiraditya M. Scindia and brought together IT leaders and policymakers from across India. Discussions focused on accelerating digital transformation and strengthening cooperative governance between the central and state governments.

Minister Scindia emphasized the need for states to act as equal partners in building a digitally empowered Bharat. He urged states to adopt best practices, streamline right of way (RoW) procedures, and implement innovative models to bridge the digital divide. The agenda also included strategies to enhance last-mile connectivity and unlock the full potential of India’s digital infrastructure.
