Operation Sadbhavana transforms lives in remote areas through education and community development

According to an official statement, Sadbhavana Diwas is celebrated annually to reinforce the principles of harmony, peace, and benevolence. By concentrating on women’s empowerment, youth development, education, healthcare, and infrastructure uplift in remote and border areas, the Indian Army has been putting these values into practice in the Northeastern states through its flagship outreach program, Operation Sadbhavana. These programs have continuously enhanced national integration, promoted trust, and raised local communities’ standards of living.

Through this program, the Indian Army and NIEDO have changed the lives of students from far-flung areas by allowing them to participate in free, competitive, technology-enabled higher education.
