The India vs Bangladesh 1st T20I clash which was to take place at the Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium in Gwalior is in demand to get cancelled due to ongoing protest.
According to the sources, Section 163 of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) is imposed due to chaotic situation.
The Hindu Mahasabh staged a protest demanding the cancellation of Sunday’s match over atrocities committed on Hindus in Bangladesh.
Gwalior District magistrate and collector Ruchika Chauhan issued the prohibitory orders. Strict rules are imposed in the Madhya Pradesh district ahead of the international match and to bring peace within the people.
Further, 1,600 policemen are deployed for security, the authorities have also warned the people to take action against any unlawful activities.
