As everyone knows, Antarctica is home to enormous mountains and breathtaking scenery. However, a new study has shown that there is a secret mountain range that dates back 500 million years. The Gamburtsev Mountains give the Alps area shape, much like other enigmatic and historic mountains. This mountain is buried beneath eastern Antarctica’s tallest summit. Because of the thick layer of ice covering the Gamburtsev Mountains, tectonic problems are thought to be less frequent. Additionally, the majority of mountains are created by collisions and subsequently destroyed by tectonic forces. As a result, the mysteries hidden beneath Antarctica’s ice are just now coming to light, and the continent is still full of geological surprises.
