Troubled by rain and landslides, terrible form of nature in Uttarakhand

According to the state disaster management department, six people have died in Haridwar. After that is Tihri. Three people died there. Two died in Dehradun and one in Chamoli. Two are missing in Haldwani and Chamoli. Dehradun Superintendent of Police Ajay Singh said that two people were swept away by the water in the Raipur area. Later, their bodies were recovered. The deceased are Sundar Singh and Arjun Singh Rana.

Many areas of Dehradun have been flooded due to heavy rains. According to Mausam Bhavan, 172 mm of rain has fallen in Dehradun in the last 24 hours. Roshanabad in Haridwar received the highest rainfall. There has been 210 mm of rain in the last 24 hours. After that, Raibala received 163 mm, Haldwani 140, Haridwar 140, Roorkee 112, and Nainital 89 mm. The situation has become more complicated as the water level of the Mandakini River has reached the danger level in Sonprayag. Four people were killed when a house collapsed in Haridwar’s Roorkee’s Bharpur village due to heavy rain. 10 others were injured. Eight of them are in critical condition.
