The 37th general session-cum-8th sports meet of Wakching Area Students’ Union (WASU) kicked off at Chingdang village on February 6. The event was held under the theme” Sporting Culture & Identity”.
Advisor of DUDA, Geology & Mining, W. Chingang Konyak, who graced the event as special guest extended gratitude to WASU for organising the event.
He advised the youngsters to instil competitive spirit in order to excel.
Delivering short speech, Methlow Konyak, contractor, Naginimora shared his experience of success and advised the youngster to be self-employed for livelihood. He also encourage the youth to be humble, respect and unite in order to progress.
Earlier, a short speech was deliver by Temwang Angh- president WASU followed by Chingdang Village Council Chairman and invocation by pastor Chingdang Village.
