Danish Kaneria’s explosive comments again. India and Pakistan face off in the T20 World Cup on Sunday. The former Pakistan cricketer targeted Babar Azam before that match. Kaneria compared him with Virat Kohli. According to Kaneria, Babar is responsible for Pakistan’s loss against America. The pace at which he runs has caused problems for the team. In an interview before the India-Pak match, Kaneria said, “When Babar scores a hundred the next day, you will see that the comparison with Virat has started. But Babar is not equal to Virat’s shoes.”
Kaneria feels that Pakistan would have benefited more if Babar got out early against America. He said, “The American bowlers kept him in check. Babar could not open his hands to play. He should have been out earlier. Otherwise, it should have been played at the end. Babar got out at a time when the next batters were in trouble.”
Babar must win against India to be in the quarterfinals of the current World Cup. But Kaneria predicted that Pakistan would not be able to stand in front of India. He said, “India will lose Pakistan badly. They have no power to beat India. Every time in the World Cup, Pakistan praises their bowling. But it was the bowling that lost them against America. It will be the same against India.”
